  • Cardholder name and transaction details — when you pay by card, PayPal or Square, we receive the card name and a record of the transaction so we can match your payment to your order.
  • Items purchased, deposit amounts, balances owing, postage and GST totals.
  • Any notes you add to your order (for example, sizing or product preferences).

How we keep your data safe

We take the security of your personal information seriously:

  • Strong passwords are used on all business accounts, including our point-of-sale and payment systems.
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled wherever it is supported to protect your transaction records and customer data.
  • Card numbers are never stored on this website. Payments are processed through secure third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal, Square) using encrypted connections.
  • Order and customer records are kept in a secure backend database with access limited to the business owner.

How we use your information

  • To process your payment, confirm your order and send receipts.
  • To calculate postage and tax based on your delivery address.
  • To contact you about your order, delivery or any balance owing.
  • To keep a record of transactions for accounting, tax and warranty purposes.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes.

Transaction tracking

We keep a record of every transaction, including deposits, partial payments and final balances. This helps us confirm what you have paid, what is still owing, and whether your order has been dispatched. These records are kept securely and only used for order management and legal record-keeping.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or request that we correct or delete it, by contacting Lynda directly. Please note that we may need to keep some transaction records for legal and tax reasons.
